       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Baxley) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 34 - 38
    4  and insert:
    5  proceedings for which the surety bond is posted. A person,
    6  corporation, company, or other entity that charges a fee to
    7  facilitate the release of an accused defendant from jail through
    8  the posting of a cash bond may not use the term “bail” in any
    9  advertisement for such services or in any of its printed
   10  materials posted in a jail, and any such materials must include
   11  a disclaimer stating that the service is not to facilitate a
   12  surety bail bond and otherwise fulfills all

   16         Delete lines 6 - 8
   17  and insert:
   18         prohibiting a person or entity that charges a fee for
   19         facilitating the release of a defendant through the

   21         advertisements and printed materials posted in a jail;
   22         requiring a certain disclaimer in such materials;
