       Senator Rodriguez moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete line 69
    4  and insert:
    5  the provisions of this chapter. The requirement to provide
    6  written notice of the public record request as provided in
    7  paragraph (1)(b) is only requisite to the assessment and award
    8  of attorney fees in accordance with this section and may not be
    9  construed to alter the obligation of an agency to acknowledge
   10  and respond to public record requests, whether made orally or in
   11  writing.
