       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 957 and 958
    4  insert:
    5         Section 22. Paragraph (j) of subsection (2) of section
    6  626.221, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         626.221 Examination requirement; exemptions.—
    8         (2) However, an examination is not necessary for any of the
    9  following:
   10         (j) An applicant for license as an all-lines adjuster who
   11  has the designation of Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) from a
   12  regionally accredited postsecondary institution in this state,
   13  Associate in Claims (AIC) from the Insurance Institute of
   14  America, Professional Claims Adjuster (PCA) from the
   15  Professional Career Institute, Professional Property Insurance
   16  Adjuster (PPIA) from the HurriClaim Training Academy, Certified
   17  Adjuster (CA) from ALL LINES Training, or Certified Claims
   18  Adjuster (CCA) from AE21 Incorporated, or Universal Claims
   19  Certification (UCC) from Claims and Litigation Management
   20  Alliance (CLM) whose curriculum has been approved by the
   21  department and which includes comprehensive analysis of basic
   22  property and casualty lines of insurance and testing at least
   23  equal to that of standard department testing for the all-lines
   24  adjuster license. The department shall adopt rules establishing
   25  standards for the approval of curriculum.
   26         Section 23. Present paragraphs (i) and (j) of subsection
   27  (7) of section 626.2815, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as
   28  paragraphs (j) and (k), respectively, and a new paragraph (i) is
   29  added to that subsection, to read:
   30         626.2815 Continuing education requirements.—
   31         (7) The following courses may be completed in order to meet
   32  the elective continuing education course requirements:
   33         (i) Any part of the Claims and Litigation Management
   34  Alliance (CLM) Universal Claims Certification (UCC) professional
   35  designation: 19 hours of elective continuing education and 5
   36  hours of the continuing education required under subsection (3).
   37         Section 24. Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section
   38  626.8734, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
   39         626.8734 Nonresident all-lines adjuster license
   40  qualifications.—
   41         (1) The department shall issue a license to an applicant
   42  for a nonresident all-lines adjuster license upon determining
   43  that the applicant has paid the applicable license fees required
   44  under s. 624.501 and:
   45         (b) Has passed to the satisfaction of the department a
   46  written Florida all-lines adjuster examination of the scope
   47  prescribed in s. 626.241(6); however, the requirement for the
   48  examination does not apply to:
   49         1. An applicant who is licensed as an all-lines adjuster in
   50  his or her home state if that state has entered into a
   51  reciprocal agreement with the department; or
   52         2. An applicant who is licensed as a nonresident all-lines
   53  adjuster in a state other than his or her home state and a
   54  reciprocal agreement with the appropriate official of the state
   55  of licensure has been entered into with the department; or
   56         3. An applicant who holds a certification set forth in s.
   57  626.221(2)(j).

   63         executive clemency; providing construction; amending
   64         s. 626.221, F.S.; providing an exception from an
   65         examination requirement for an all-lines adjuster
   66         license applicant with a specified designation;
   67         amending s. 626.2815, F.S.; specifying the education
   68         hours that may be completed to meet continuing
   69         education requirements for such a designation;
   70         amending s. 626.8734, F.S.; providing an exception
   71         from an examination requirement for nonresident all
   72         lines adjuster license applicants who hold certain
   73         certifications; amending
