(1) For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the 7 nonrecurring sum of $60 million from the State Economic 8 Enhancement and Development Trust Fund is appropriated to the 9 Department of Economic Opportunity to administer contracts 10 approved by the Governor for the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. 11 (2) For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the nonrecurring sum of 12 $25 million from the State Transportation Trust Fund is 13 appropriated to the Department of Transportation to contract 14 with the Department of Economic Opportunity to provide for 15 transportation infrastructure for contracts approved by the 16 Governor for the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. 17 (3) The Executive Office of the Governor is authorized to 18 process one or more budget amendments pursuant to s. 216.181 19 (12), Florida Statutes, in a total amount not to exceed $40 20 million to provide for the nonoperating transfer of funds from 21 the State Transportation Trust Fund to the State Economic 22 Enhancement and Development Trust Fund to support expenditures 23 for the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. 24 (4) State funds other than those appropriated in this 25 section may not be expended on the Florida Job Growth Grant 26 Fund. 27 Section 3. For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the recurring sum 28 of $9.4 million from the State Economic Enhancement and 29 Development Trust Fund and the recurring sum of $6.6 million 30 from the Florida International Trade and Promotion Trust Fund 31 are appropriated to the Department of Economic Opportunity to 32 contract with Enterprise Florida, Inc., for operational purposes 33 and to maintain its offices but excluding expenditures on any 34 incentive tools or programs unless explicitly authorized by this 35 act. From the funds appropriated from the Florida International 36 Trade and Promotion Trust Fund, Enterprise Florida, Inc., shall 37 allocate $3.55 million for international programs, $2.05 million 38 to maintain Florida’s international offices, and $1 million to 39 continue the Florida Export Diversification and Expansion 40 Programs. 41 Section 4. For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the recurring sum 42 of $26 million and the nonrecurring sum of $26 million from the 43 State Economic Enhancement and Development Trust Fund and the 44 recurring sum of $24 million from the Tourism Promotional Trust 45 Fund are appropriated to the Department of Economic Opportunity 46 to contract with the Florida Tourism Industry Marketing 47 Corporation. 48 49 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 50 And the title is amended as follows: 51 Delete line 32 52 and insert: 53 Education Finance Program; providing appropriations to 54 the Department of Economic Opportunity and the 55 Department of Transportation for administration of the 56 Florida Job Growth Grant Fund; authorizing the 57 Executive Office of the Governor to process budget 58 amendments to support expenditures for the Florida Job 59 Growth Grant Fund; restricting the use of other state 60 funds towards the grant fund; providing appropriations 61 to the Department of Economic Opportunity to contract 62 with Enterprise Florida, Inc., and the Florida Tourism 63 Industry Marketing Corporation, respectively; 64 providing effective dates.
