Appropriations Subcommittee on the Environment and Natural
Resources (Hutson) recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 25 - 32
4 and insert:
5 must meet the standards specified in this paragraph. All decals
6 issued by the commission on or before December 31, 2018 are no
7 longer valid after that date.
8 2. The safety inspection decal, if displayed, must be
9 located within 6 inches of the inspected vessel’s properly
10 displayed vessel registration decal. For nonmotorized vessels
11 that are not required to be registered, the safety inspection
12 decal, if displayed, must be located above the waterline on the
13 forward half of the port side of the vessel.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2019.
