House Comm: RCS . 02/09/2018 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Appropriations Subcommittee on Pre-K - 12 Education (Galvano) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 197 - 202 4 and insert: 5 remain unresolved, the school district, in accordance with the 6 school district’s code of student conduct, shall: 7 a. Notify the victim’s parent of the availability of the 8 program and offer that parent an opportunity to enroll his or 9 her student in another public school or to request and receive a 10 scholarship to attend an eligible private school, subject to 11 available funding; and 12 b. Provide the victim’s parent with a written notification 13 of the result of the principal’s investigation of the alleged 14 incident. The parent must provide such notification to the 15 scholarship-funding organization that verifies the student’s 16 eligibility.
