       Senator Passidomo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (384600) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 2884 - 2885
    5  and insert:
    6         Section 60. Effective July 1, 2018, paragraph (a) of
    7  subsection (3) of section 338.26, Florida Statutes, is amended
    8  to read:
    9         338.26 Alligator Alley toll road.—
   10         (3)(a) Fees generated from tolls shall be deposited in the
   11  State Transportation Trust Fund and shall be used:
   12         1. To reimburse outstanding contractual obligations;
   13         2. To operate and maintain the highway and toll facilities,
   14  including reconstruction and restoration;
   15         3. To pay for those projects that are funded with Alligator
   16  Alley toll revenues and that are contained in the 1993-1994
   17  adopted work program or the 1994-1995 tentative work program
   18  submitted to the Legislature on February 22, 1994; and
   19         4. By interlocal agreement effective July 1, 2014, through
   20  no later than June 30, 2019, to reimburse a county or another
   21  local governmental entity for the direct actual costs of
   22  operating the To design and construct a fire station at mile
   23  marker 63 on Alligator Alley, which may be used by a county or
   24  another local governmental entity to provide fire, rescue, and
   25  emergency management services to the public on Alligator Alley;
   26  and
   27         5. By interlocal agreement effective July 1, 2014, through
   28  no later than June 30, 2018, to reimburse a county or another
   29  local governmental entity for the direct actual costs of
   30  operating such fire station.
   31         Section 61. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
   32  act and except for this section, which shall take effect July 1,
   33  2018, this act shall take effect October 1, 2018.

   38  insert:
   39         amending s. 338.26, F.S.; requiring fees generated
   40         from tolls to be used to reimburse, by interlocal
   41         agreement within a specified timeframe, a county or
   42         another local governmental entity for the direct
   43         actual costs of operating a specified fire station
   44         providing services to the public on Alligator Alley;
   45         deleting obsolete language;
