    1                          Senate Resolution                        
    2         A resolution recognizing Indian Creek Village on the
    3         occasion of the 79th anniversary of its founding.
    4  
    5         WHEREAS, Indian Creek Village was incorporated on May 19,
    6  1939, by the residents of the island enclave, and
    7         WHEREAS, beginning with the construction of several
    8  mansions and a clubhouse, Indian Creek Village now has 41
    9  residential home sites and is home to the Indian Creek Country
   10  Club, and
   11         WHEREAS, known as “America’s most exclusive municipality,”
   12  Indian Creek Village is home to millionaires and billionaires,
   13  including former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula and singer
   14  songwriter Julio Iglesias, and
   15         WHEREAS, the Indian Creek Village Council is led by Mayor
   16  Bernard Klepach and Vice Mayor Javier Holtz and residents are
   17  represented by council members Irma Braman, Robert Diener, and
   18  Irwin E. Tauber, and the Village Manager is C. Samuel Kissinger,
   19  NOW, THEREFORE,

   21  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

   23         That Indian Creek Village is recognized on the occasion of
   24  the 79th anniversary of its founding.
