       The Committee on Rules (Young) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 206 - 208
    4  and insert:
    5         (4) “High-risk patient” means an injured patient with an
    6  International Classification Injury Severity Score of less than
    7  0.85.
    8         (6)(5) “International Classification Injury Severity Score”
    9  means the statistical method for computing the severity of
   10  injuries sustained by trauma patients, based on the
   11  International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related
   12  Health Problems, 10th revision, Clinical Modification, and
   13  adopted by the department by rule, in consultation with the
   14  Florida Trauma System Advisory Council, along with any
   15  conversion tables or analytical tools used in its computation
   16  Injury Severity Score shall be the methodology used by the
   17  department and trauma centers severity of an injury.
