Section: 8               EXPLANATION:

On Page: 398             Adds proviso to Section 8 that directs the state 
                         group health insurance program to provide coverage 
Spec App:                for prescription enteral formulas and 
                         amino-acid-based elemental formulas, effective for 
                         the 2019 plan year.

In Section 8(3), on Page 398, DELETE the following:

(c)   State  Health  Insurance  Premiums  for  the  Period July 1, 2018,
through June 30, 2019.

In Section 8(3), on Page 398, INSERT the following:

7. Beginning with plan year 2019, the state group insurance program must 
provide coverage for prescription enteral formulas and amino-acid-based 
elemental formulas, regardless of the method of delivery or intake, for 
home use which are prescribed by a physician licensed under chapter 458 
or chapter 459 as medically necessary for the treatment of eosinophilic 
disorders, food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome, inherited 
diseases of amino acid, organic acid, carbohydrate, or fat metabolism as 
well as malabsorption. Such coverage may not exceed an amount of $20,000 
annually for any insured individual.

(c)   State  Health  Insurance  Premiums  for  the  Period July 1, 2018,
through June 30, 2019.
