2 An act relating to transportation facility
3 designations; providing honorary designations of
4 certain transportation facilities in specified
5 counties; directing the Department of Transportation
6 to erect suitable markers; providing an effective
7 date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11 Section 1. Transportation facility designations; Department
12 of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
13 (1) That portion of I-595 between S.W. 136th Avenue and
14 S.R. 823/Flamingo Road in Broward County is designated as
15 “Deputy Ryan Seguin Memorial Highway.”
16 (2) That portion of I-75/Alligator Alley between mile
17 marker 24 and mile marker 26 in Broward County is designated as
18 “Trooper Stephen G. Rouse Memorial Highway.”
19 (3) The Minneola interchange on S.R. 91/Florida’s Turnpike
20 at N. Hancock Road in Lake County is designated as “Tera Ross
21 Memorial Interchange.”
22 (4) That portion of U.S. 90/S.R. 10 between Chaires Cross
23 Road and S.R. 59 in Leon County and Jefferson County is
24 designated as “Deputy Christopher Smith Memorial Highway.”
25 (5) The pedestrian bridge over S.R. 436/Semoran Boulevard
26 (75003000) at Abercorn Drive in Orange County is designated as
27 “Elias ‘Rico’ Piccard Memorial Overpass.”
28 (6) Bridge number 105503 on W. Laurel Street over the
29 Hillsborough River in Hillsborough County is designated as
30 “Fortune Taylor Bridge.”
31 (7) That portion of N.E. 18th Street between N.E. 2nd
32 Avenue and N. Bayshore Drive in Miami-Dade County is designated
33 as “Jose Luis Ferreira de Melo Boulevard.”
34 (8) That portion of N.W. 7th Avenue/U.S. 441 between N.W.
35 12th Street and N.W. 58th Street in Miami-Dade County is
36 designated as “Reverend James Jenkins Boulevard.”
37 (9) That portion of N.W. 133rd Avenue between N.W. 11th
38 Street and N.W. 12th Street in Broward County is designated as
39 “Patricia Angella Barrett Lewis and Charlton Pernell Lewis
40 Avenue.”
41 (10) That portion of 5th Street between Euclid Avenue and
42 Lenox Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Joseph
43 Emmanuel ‘Manno’ Charlemagne Street.”
44 (11) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
45 suitable markers designating the transportation facilities as
46 described in this section.
47 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2018.
