       Senator Rader moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 162 and 163
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 385.212, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         385.212 Powers and duties of the Department of Health;
    8  Office of Medical Marijuana Use.—
    9         (1) The Department of Health shall establish an Office of
   10  Medical Marijuana Use under the direction of the Deputy State
   11  Health Officer. The director appointed to the Office of Medical
   12  Marijuana Use is subject to confirmation by the Senate.

   15  And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 6
   17  and insert:
   18         association; amending s. 385.212, F.S.; providing that
   19         a director appointed to the Office of Medical
