       The Committee on Rules (Brandes) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (325944) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete line 140
    5  and insert:
    6  motor vehicle dealers licensed by the department. A manufacturer
    7  licensed pursuant to s. 320.61 which does not have a franchise
    8  agreement as defined by s. 320.60(1) with any person in this
    9  state may advertise the motor vehicles that it manufactures,
   10  including demonstrations of those motor vehicles to consumers,
   11  provided that the sale or lease of such a motor vehicle in this
   12  state may only occur through a licensed motor vehicle dealer.

   15  And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 350
   17  and insert:
   18         “wholesale motor vehicle dealer”; authorizing a
   19         licensed manufacturer that does not have a franchise
   20         agreement with any person in this state to advertise
   21         motor vehicles it manufactures, provided that the sale
   22         or lease of such a motor vehicle in this state may
   23         only occur through a licensed motor vehicle dealer;
