       Senator Braynon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (318628) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete line 428
    5  and insert:
    6  fire stock. A person who possesses a bump-fire stock, or all of
    7  the parts necessary to build or assemble a bump-fire stock, must
    8  turn over the bump-fire stock, or all such parts, to his or her
    9  county sheriff’s department within 90 days after this act
   10  becomes law. The sheriff’s department shall certify and document
   11  the persons who have complied with this section and shall
   12  dispose of the bump-fire stocks, or all such parts, in an
   13  appropriate manner within a reasonable amount of time. A person
   14  who violates this section commits a felony

   19  and insert:
   20         the sale and possession of bump-fire stocks; requiring
   21         a person possessing a bump-fire stock or all the parts

   23         turn over the bump-fire stock or all such parts to his
   24         or her county sheriff’s department within a specified
   25         timeframe; requiring the sheriff’s department to
   26         certify and document the persons who have complied
   27         with this requirement and to dispose of the bump-fire
   28         stocks or all such parts in an appropriate manner;
