       Senator Rodriguez moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (234288) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 337 and 338
    5  insert:
    6         Section 9. Paragraph (a) of subsection (12) of section
    7  790.06, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         790.06 License to carry concealed weapon or firearm.—
    9         (12)(a) A license issued under this section does not
   10  authorize any person to openly carry a handgun or carry a
   11  concealed weapon or firearm into:
   12         1. Any place of nuisance as defined in s. 823.05;
   13         2. Any police, sheriff, or highway patrol station;
   14         3. Any detention facility, prison, or jail;
   15         4. Any courthouse or primary county administration building
   16  not located within the courthouse;
   17         5. Any courtroom, except that nothing in this section would
   18  preclude a judge from carrying a concealed weapon or determining
   19  who will carry a concealed weapon in his or her courtroom;
   20         6. Any polling place;
   21         7. Any meeting of the governing body of a county, public
   22  school district, municipality, or special district;
   23         8. Any meeting of the Legislature or a committee thereof;
   24         9. Any school, college, or professional athletic event not
   25  related to firearms;
   26         10. Any elementary or secondary school facility or
   27  administration building;
   28         11. Any career center;
   29         12. Any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense
   30  alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, which
   31  portion of the establishment is primarily devoted to such
   32  purpose;
   33         13. Any college or university facility unless the licensee
   34  is a registered student, employee, or faculty member of such
   35  college or university and the weapon is a stun gun or nonlethal
   36  electric weapon or device designed solely for defensive purposes
   37  and the weapon does not fire a dart or projectile;
   38         14. The inside of the passenger terminal and sterile area
   39  of any airport, provided that no person shall be prohibited from
   40  carrying any legal firearm into the terminal, which firearm is
   41  encased for shipment for purposes of checking such firearm as
   42  baggage to be lawfully transported on any aircraft; or
   43         15. Any place where the carrying of firearms is prohibited
   44  by federal law.

   54         into any primary county administration building not
   55         located within the courthouse; creating s. 790.064,
