    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to a direct support organization of
    3         the Department of Corrections; amending s. 944.802,
    4         F.S.; extending the repeal date of provisions relating
    5         to the organization; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (4) of section 944.802, Florida
   10  Statutes, is amended to read:
   11         944.802 Direct-support organization; definition; use of
   12  property; board of directors; audit.—
   13         (4) REPEAL.—This section is repealed October 1, 2028 2018,
   14  unless reviewed and saved from repeal by the Legislature.
   15         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2018.
