Subsections (5) through (8) of section 1007.27, 6 Florida Statutes, are redesignated as subsections (6) through 7 (9), respectively, and a new subsection (5) is added to that 8 section, to read: 9 1007.27 Articulated acceleration mechanisms.— 10 (5)(a) Beginning September 1, 2020, and annually 11 thereafter, each postsecondary institution shall report to the 12 Commissioner of Education at least the following information, by 13 school district, for the previous school year for each dual 14 enrollment articulation agreement it enters into pursuant to s. 15 1007.271: 16 1. The number of students who enrolled in a dual enrollment 17 course under each articulation agreement, including those 18 students enrolled in an early college program under s. 1007.273; 19 2. The total and average number of dual enrollment courses 20 completed; clock hours earned; high school and college credits 21 earned; standard high school diplomas, certificates, and 22 associate and baccalaureate degrees awarded; and industry 23 certifications attained by the students who enrolled in each 24 dual enrollment program or early college program; 25 3. The projected student enrollment in each dual enrollment 26 program and early college program during the next school year; 27 and 28 4. Any barriers to entering into an agreement to establish 29 one or more early college programs as provided in ss. 1007.271 30 and 1007.273. 31 (b) By November 30, 2020, and annually thereafter, the 32 Department of Education shall publish on its website the status 33 of early college programs, including, at a minimum, a summary of 34 student enrollment and completion information, by each school 35 district, provided pursuant to this subsection; barriers, if 36 any, to establishing such programs; and recommendations for 37 expanding access to such programs statewide. 38 39 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 40 And the title is amended as follows: 41 Delete line 3 42 and insert: 43 secondary students; amending s. 1007.27, F.S.; 44 requiring postsecondary institutions to annually 45 report specified information to the Commissioner of 46 Education; requiring the Department of Education to 47 annually publish specified information to its website; 48 amending s. 1007.271, F.S.;
