       The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Perry) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 25 - 27
    4  and insert:
    5  may not be a principal of the organization, and he or she may
    6  not receive a direct benefit in the form of compensation, such
    7  as any earnings, stipend, tips, or paid employment, from the
    8  organization in exchange for such donation.

   11  And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete lines 5 - 7
   13  and insert:
   14         or sibling, from serving as a principal of a
   15         charitable organization that receives surplus funds or
   16         from receiving a direct financial benefit from such
   17         organization in exchange for the donation of surplus
   18         funds; providing an effective date.
