Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) and subsection 6 (3) of section 270.11, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 7 270.11 Contracts for sale of public lands to reserve 8 certain mineral rights; prohibition on exercise of right of 9 entry in certain cases.— 10 (2) 11 (b) A local government, a water management district, or an 12 agency of the state may, at its discretion, sell or release 13 reserved interest in any parcel of land, except that such sale 14 or release shall be made upon petition of the purchaser for such 15 interest and with a statement of reasons justifying such sale or 16 release. 17 (3) The right of entryin respectto any interest in 18 phosphate, minerals, and metals or any interest in petroleum 19heretofore or hereafterreserved in favor of the Board of 20 Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund,orthe State 21 Board of Education, a local government, a water management 22 district, or other agency of the state isherebyreleased foras23toany parcel of property that is, or ever has been, a 24 contiguous tract of less than 20 acres in the aggregate under 25 the same ownership. 26(3) A local government, water management district, or27agency of the state may, at its discretion, sell or release28reserved interest in any parcel of land, except that such sale29or release shall be made upon petition of the purchaser for such30interest and with a statement of reasons justifying such sale or31release.32 Section 2.
