    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to other-personal-services employees;
    3         requiring agencies that participate in the state group
    4         insurance program to review other-personal-services
    5         employees eligible to enroll in the program to
    6         consider their placement in authorized full-time
    7         equivalent positions; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. As soon as practicable after this act becomes a
   12  law, each agency, as defined in s. 110.131(1), Florida Statutes,
   13  which participates in the state group insurance program shall
   14  review its employees who are paid from other-personal-services
   15  (OPS) funds and are eligible for participation in the state
   16  group insurance program pursuant to s. 110.131(5), Florida
   17  Statutes, to ascertain whether any such employees may be placed
   18  in any authorized full-time equivalent positions within the
   19  agency in lieu of OPS employment.
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
