    2         A resolution recognizing April 3, 2019, as “Keep
    3         Florida Beautiful Day.”
    4  
    5         WHEREAS, Keep America Beautiful is the nation’s iconic
    6  community improvement nonprofit organization that envisions a
    7  country in which every community is a clean, green, and
    8  beautiful place to live, and
    9  
   10         WHEREAS, Keep America Beautiful has established the Great
   11  American Cleanup as its signature national effort to involve
   12  Americans in improving the environment, and
   13  
   14         WHEREAS, the state affiliate organization, Keep Florida
   15  Beautiful, seeks to protect Florida’s natural resources by
   16  channeling the collaborative efforts of residents, schools,
   17  government, and businesses to end littering, reduce waste, and
   18  beautify our communities, and
   19  
   20         WHEREAS, all Floridians are encouraged to volunteer and
   21  join in activities that promote responsible environmental
   22  stewardship and to renew their commitment to building a better
   23  world, for today and for future generations, NOW, THEREFORE,
   24  
   25  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:
   26  
   27         That April 3, 2019, is recognized as “Keep Florida
   28  Beautiful Day.”
