    1                    Senate Concurrent Resolution                   
    2         A concurrent resolution extending the 2019 Regular
    3         Session of the Florida Legislature under the authority
    4         of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
    5         Constitution.

    7         WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2019 Regular Session of the
    8  Florida Legislature will expire on Friday, May 3, 2019, and the
    9  necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW,
   10  THEREFORE,

   12  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida, the House
   13  of Representatives Concurring:
   14  
   15         That, the 2019 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature
   16  is extended until 11:59 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, under the
   17  authority of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
   18  Constitution.
   19         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, in the regular session so
   20  extended, the Legislature shall consider only the following
   21  matters:
   22         (1) Senate Bill 2500 or any Senate and House Conference
   23  Committee Report thereon.
   24         (2) Senate Bill 2502 or any Senate and House Conference
   25  Committee Report thereon.
   26         (3) Senate Bill 2504 or any Senate and House Conference
   27  Committee Report thereon.
   28         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both
   29  houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from
   30  consideration of the respective house as of 11:59 p.m., Friday,
   31  May 3, 2019.
   32         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment on
   33  Friday, May 3, 2019, either house may reconvene upon the call of
   34  its presiding officer.
   35         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature shall adjourn
   36  sine die at the earlier of Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:59 p.m.
   37  or upon concurrent motions to adjourn sine die.
