    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to motor vehicle registration
    3         applications; amending s. 320.02, F.S.; requiring the
    4         application form for motor vehicle registration and
    5         renewal of registration to include language permitting
    6         a voluntary contribution to the Live Like Bella
    7         Childhood Cancer Foundation; requiring the Department
    8         of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to distribute
    9         such contributions to the Live Like Bella Childhood
   10         Cancer Foundation; providing an effective date.

   12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   13  
   14         Section 1. Paragraph (v) is added to subsection (16) of
   15  section 320.02, Florida Statutes, to read:
   16         320.02 Registration required; application for registration;
   17  forms.—
   18         (16) 
   19         (v) Notwithstanding s. 320.023, the application form for
   20  motor vehicle registration and renewal of registration must
   21  include language permitting a voluntary contribution of $1 or
   22  more per applicant to the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer
   23  Foundation. Such contributions must be distributed by the
   24  department to the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation.

   26  For the purpose of applying the service charge provided in s.
   27  215.20, contributions received under this subsection are not
   28  income of a revenue nature.
   29         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2019.
