Floor: 2/AD/2R . 04/10/2019 04:28 PM . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Montford moved the following: 1 Senate Substitute for Amendment (434076) (with directory 2 and title amendments) 3 4 Between lines 166 and 167 5 insert: 6 (9) The expansion of the public records exemption under 7 this section to include other identifying information with 8 respect to any person reporting child abuse, abandonment, or 9 neglect is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act in 10 accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand repealed on October 2, 11 2024, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment 12 by the Legislature. If the expansion of the exemption is not 13 saved from repeal, this section shall revert to that in 14 existence on June 30, 2019, except that any other amendments 15 made to this section, other than by this act, are preserved and 16 continue to operate to the extent that such amendments are not 17 dependent upon the portions of text that expire under this 18 subsection. 19 20 ====== D I R E C T O R Y C L A U S E A M E N D M E N T ====== 21 And the directory clause is amended as follows: 22 Delete line 13 23 and insert: 24 Florida Statutes, are amended, and subsection (9) is added 25 to that section, to read: 26 27 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 28 And the title is amended as follows: 29 Delete line 7 30 and insert: 31 changes; providing for future legislative review and 32 repeal of the exemption; providing for reversion of 33 statutory text of certain provisions if the exemption 34 is not saved from repeal; providing a statement of 35 public necessity;
