House Comm: RCS . 02/19/2019 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Rouson) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 234 - 243 4 and insert: 5 and continued employment. The applicant must submit a full set 6 of fingerprints to the department or to a vendor, entity, or 7 agency authorized by s. 943.053(13). The department, vendor, 8 entity, or agency shall forward the fingerprints to the 9 Department of Law Enforcement for state processing and the 10 Department of Law Enforcement shall forward the fingerprints to 11 the Federal Bureau of Investigation for national processing. 12 Fees for state and federal fingerprint processing and retention 13 shall be borne by the applicant. The state cost for fingerprint 14 processing shall be as provided in s. 943.053(3)(e) for records 15 provided to persons or entities other than those specified as 16 exceptions therein. Fingerprints submitted to the Department of 17 Law Enforcement pursuant to this paragraph shall be retained as 18 provided by s. 435.12 and, when the Department of Law 19 Enforcement begins participation in the program, enrolled in the 20 Federal Bureau of Investigation’s national retained fingerprint 21 arrest notification program, as provided in s. 943.05(4).
