       The Committee on Judiciary (Rodriguez) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 86
    4  and insert:
    5  subject matter among states that enact it. Subpoenas may only be
    6  issued pursuant to this section if the foreign jurisdiction that
    7  issued the foreign subpoena has adopted the Uniform Interstate
    8  Depositions and Discovery Act or a substantially similar
    9  measure.
