       Senator Diaz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (684762) (with directory and
    2  title amendments)
    3  
    4         Between lines 1019 and 1020
    5  insert:
    6         (c) Each district school board shall include in its annual
    7  financial report to the Department of Education the amount of
    8  funds the school board transferred from each of the categorical
    9  funds identified in this subsection and the specific academic
   10  classroom instruction or school safety need for which the
   11  transferred funds were expended. The Department of Education
   12  shall provide instructions and specify the format to be used in
   13  submitting this required information as a part of the district
   14  annual financial report. The Department of Education shall
   15  submit a report to the Legislature that identifies by district
   16  and by categorical fund the amount transferred and the specific
   17  academic classroom activity or school safety need for which the
   18  funds were expended.
