       Senator Braynon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (684762) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 800 and 801
    5  insert:
    6         (5) NOTIFICATION.—The school district shall notify the
    7  county sheriff and the Office of Safe Schools immediately after,
    8  but no later than 72 hours after:
    9         (a) A safe school officer is dismissed for misconduct or is
   10  otherwise disciplined.
   11         (b) A safe school officer discharges his or her firearm in
   12  the exercise of the guardian’s duties, other than for training
   13  purposes.

   18  insert:
   19         requiring certain school districts to notify the
   20         county sheriff and the Office of Safe Schools after
