       Senator Diaz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 2529 - 2535
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 24. (1)The Department of Revenue is authorized,
    6  and all conditions are deemed to be met, to adopt emergency
    7  rules pursuant to s. 120.54(4), Florida Statutes, for the
    8  purpose of administering the provisions of this act relating to
    9  the Hope Scholarship Program and Florida Tax Credit Scholarship
   10  Program.
   11         (2)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, emergency
   12  rules adopted pursuant to subsection (1) are effective for 6
   13  months after adoption and may be renewed during the pendency of
   14  procedures to adopt permanent rules addressing the subject of
   15  the emergency rules.
   16         (3)This section shall take effect upon this act becoming a
   17  law and shall expire January 1, 2022.

   20  And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Delete lines 264 - 266
   22  and insert:
   23         per student station; expanding the authority of the
   24         Department of Revenue to adopt emergency rules;
   25         providing that certain rules are effective for a
   26         specified length of time and may be renewed; providing
   27         an effective date; providing for future expiration;
   28         providing effective dates.
