Senator Flores moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (155860) (with title
2 amendment)

4 Between lines 413 and 414
5 insert:
6 Section 9. Subsection (2) of section 166.045, Florida
7 Statutes, is renumbered as subsection (3), and a new subsection
8 (2) is added to that section, to read:
9 166.045 Proposed purchase of real property by municipality;
10 confidentiality of records; procedure.—
11 (2) Except as otherwise provided in s. 171.205, a
12 municipality may not purchase real property within another
13 municipality’s jurisdictional boundaries without the other
14 municipality’s consent.
15 Section 10. Subsection (4) is added to section 171.042,
16 Florida Statutes, to read:
17 171.042 Prerequisites to annexation.—
18 (4) Except as otherwise provided in s. 171.205, a
19 municipality may not annex an area within another municipal
20 jurisdiction without the other municipality’s consent.
