       Senator Rodriguez moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (749698) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 615 and 616
    5  insert:
    6         Section 21. Subsection (10) is added to section 1011.71,
    7  Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         1011.71 District school tax.—
    9         (10) The president of the governing board of a charter
   10  school must attest annually, under penalty of perjury, that the
   11  use of the proceeds received by such charter school pursuant to
   12  subsection (9) from a sponsor district is consistent with the
   13  uses authorized in the voter-approved levy. Additionally, the
   14  Auditor General must annually audit and verify that the charter
   15  school’s use of proceeds provided pursuant to an authorized levy
   16  is spent in a manner consistent with the authorized uses. The
   17  Auditor General must provide each sponsor district with a copy
   18  of its audit report.

   22         Delete line 721
   23  and insert:
   24         providing an appropriation; amending s. 1011.71, F.S.;
   25         providing requirements for the president of the
   26         governing board of a charter school relating to
   27         proceeds received from a sponsor district; requiring
   28         the Auditor General to annually audit and verify the
   29         use of such proceeds; providing effective dates.
