Paragraphs (d) through (j) of subsection (4) of 11 section 934.50, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as paragraphs 12 (g) through (m), respectively, and new paragraphs (d), (e), and 13 (f) are added to that subsection, to read: 14 934.50 Searches and seizure using a drone.— 15 (4) EXCEPTIONS.—This section does not prohibit the use of a 16 drone: 17 (d) To assist a law enforcement agency in crowd control or 18 traffic management. 19 (e) To facilitate a law enforcement agency’s collection of 20 evidence at a crime scene or traffic crash scene. 21 (f) By a state agency or political subdivision for the 22 assessment of damage due to a flood, wildfire, or natural 23 disaster or for land management. 24 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2019.
