The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Harrell)
recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

3 Between lines 300 and 301
4 insert:
5 (12) This section does not prohibit a local governmental
6 entity from requiring mandatory certification of recovery
7 residences as part of a reasonable accommodation process to
8 protect the health and safety of the residents.
9 (13) By January 1, 2020, the Sober Homes Task Force within
10 the Office of the State Attorney of the Fifteenth Judicial
11 Circuit shall submit a report to the President of the Senate and
12 the Speaker of the House of Representatives which contains
13 recommendations on mandatory statewide certification of recovery
14 residences.
