       Senator Gruters moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (464008) (with directory
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 1301 and 1302
    5  insert:
    6         (112) KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS LICENSE PLATES.—
    7         (a) The department shall develop a Knights of Columbus
    8  license plate as provided in this section and s. 320.08053. The
    9  plate must bear the colors and design approved by the
   10  department. The word “Florida” must appear at the top of the
   11  plate, and the words “In God We Trust” must appear at the bottom
   12  of the plate.
   13         (b) The license plate annual use fees shall be distributed
   14  to Florida KofC Charities, Inc., which may use a maximum of 10
   15  percent of the proceeds to promote and market the plate. The
   16  remainder of the proceeds shall be used by Florida KofC
   17  Charities, Inc., a Knights of Columbus organization under s.
   18  501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, to fund its charitable
   19  activities, including, but not limited to, the Christian Refugee
   20  Relief Fund, disaster relief, Ultrasound Initiative, Food for
   21  Families, and Coats for Kids.
