       Senator Rouson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 330 and 331
    4  insert:
    5         (18) A person regularly engaged in the business of
    6  recovering, towing, or storing vehicles who purchases a vehicle
    7  for salvage may not charge the registered owner of the vehicle a
    8  fee for storing the vehicle if the storage period is for less
    9  than 10 days. A violation of this subsection is a misdemeanor of
   10  the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s.
   11  775.083.
