       The Committee on Community Affairs (Hutson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 17 - 24
    4  and insert:
    5         (a) New Year’s Day, January 1;
    6         (b) Memorial Day, the last Monday in May;
    7         (c) Independence Day, July 4; or
    8         (d) New Year’s Eve, December 31.
    9         (2) This chapter does not prohibit the use of fireworks
   10  solely and exclusively during a designated holiday.

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete lines 5 - 8
   15  and insert:

   17         an effective date.
