       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 472 and 473
    4  insert:
    5         Section 18. Subsection (10) is added to section 627.701,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         627.701 Liability of insureds; coinsurance; deductibles.—
    8         (10) A personal lines residential property insurer may
    9  offer a separate deductible of not more than $5,000 applicable
   10  to a loss to a roof not caused by a hurricane.

   15  insert:
   16         amending s. 627.701, F.S.; authorizing a personal
   17         lines residential property insurer to offer a separate
   18         deductible of not more than a certain amount
   19         applicable to a loss to a roof not caused by a
   20         hurricane;
