    2         A concurrent resolution extending the 2020 Regular
    3         Session of the Florida Legislature under the authority
    4         of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
    5         Constitution.

    7         WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2020 Regular Session of the
    8  Florida Legislature will expire on Friday, March 13, 2020, and
    9  the necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW,
   10  THEREFORE,

   12  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida, the House
   13  of Representatives Concurring:
   14  
   15         That, the 2020 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature
   16  is extended until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020, under
   17  the authority of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
   18  Constitution.
   19         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, in the regular session so
   20  extended, the Legislature shall consider only the following
   21  matters:
   22         (1) House Bill 5001 or any Senate and House Conference
   23  Committee Report thereon.
   24         (2) House Bill 5003 or any Senate and House Conference
   25  Committee Report thereon.
   26         (3) House Bill 5005 or any Senate and House Conference
   27  Committee Report thereon.
   28         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both
   29  houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from
   30  consideration of the respective house as of 12:00 a.m.,
   31  Saturday, March 14, 2020.
   32         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment on
   33  Friday, March 13, 2020, either house may reconvene upon the call
   34  of its presiding officer.
   35         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature shall adjourn
   36  sine die at the earlier of Friday, March 20, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.
   37  or upon concurrent motions to adjourn sine die.
