       The Committee on Judiciary (Rodriguez) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (488352) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete everything after the resolving clause
    5  and insert:
    6         That the Florida Senate rejects and condemns any philosophy
    7  that incites one group of people against another on the basis of
    8  race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or disability, and
    9         That, as such, the Florida Senate rejects and condemns the
   10  philosophies embraced by white nationalists and white
   11  supremacists, and
   12         That the Florida Senate affirms that such philosophies are
   13  contradictory to the values that define the people of Florida
   14  and the United States.

   17  And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete everything before the resolving clause
   19  and insert:
   20                          Senate Resolution                        
   21         A resolution rejecting and condemning any philosophy
   22         that espouses the superiority of one group of people
   23         over another which is hateful, dangerous, or a morally
   24         corrupt expression of intolerance, and affirming that
   25         such philosophies are contradictory to the values that
   26         define the people of Florida and the United States.
   27  
   28         WHEREAS, recent acts of domestic terror, including acts of
   29  mass violence, have shocked and saddened our nation, and
   30         WHEREAS, this murderous violence was perpetrated by
   31  individuals who embraced philosophies that espouse the
   32  superiority of one group of people over another on the basis of
   33  race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or disability and
   34         WHEREAS, these philosophies are embraced by groups which
   35  include white nationalists, white supremacists, "incels", and
   36  others, and
   37         WHEREAS, these philosophies are contradictory to the
   38         values, constitutional protections, and moral fiber of
   39         the United States of America and the State of Florida,
   40         NOW, THEREFORE,
