       The Committee on Judiciary (Rodriguez) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the resolving clause
    4  and insert:
    5         That the Florida Senate rejects white nationalism and white
    6  supremacy as hateful, dangerous, and morally corrupt; and
    7  affirms that such philosophies are contradictory to the values
    8  that define the people of Florida.

   11  And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete everything before the resolving clause
   13  and insert:
   14                          Senate Resolution                        
   15         A resolution rejecting white nationalism and white
   16         supremacy as hateful, dangerous, and morally corrupt,
   17         and affirming that such philosophies are contradictory
   18         to the values that define the people of Florida.

   20         WHEREAS, recent acts of domestic terror, including acts of
   21  mass violence, have shocked and saddened our nation, and
   22         WHEREAS, this murderous violence was perpetrated by
   23  individuals who embraced a philosophy of white nationalism and
   24  white supremacy, and
   25         WHEREAS, this philosophy is contradictory to the values,
   26  constitutional protections, and moral fiber of the United States
   27  of America and the State of Florida, NOW, THEREFORE,
