       The Committee on Appropriations (Harrell) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 276 - 289
    4  and insert:
    5         (c) Ground ambulance and vehicle equipment and supplies
    6  that a licensee with a valid vehicle permit under s. 401.26 is
    7  required to maintain to provide basic or advanced life support
    8  services at least as comprehensive as those published in the
    9  most current edition of the American College of Surgeons,
   10  Committee on Trauma, list of essential equipment for ambulances,
   11  as interpreted by rules of the department.
   12         (d) Ground ambulance or vehicle design and construction
   13  based on national standards recognized by the department and at
   14  least equal to those most currently recommended by the United
   15  States General Services Administration as interpreted by
   16  department rule rules of the department.
