       The Committee on Appropriations (Harrell) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1672 and 1673
    4  insert:
    5         Section 40. For the purpose of incorporating the amendment
    6  made by this act to section 459.0055, Florida Statutes, in a
    7  reference thereto, subsection (6) of section 459.021, Florida
    8  Statutes, is reenacted to read:
    9         459.021 Registration of resident physicians, interns, and
   10  fellows; list of hospital employees; penalty.—
   11         (6) Any person desiring registration pursuant to this
   12  section shall meet all the requirements of s. 459.0055, except
   13  paragraphs (1)(l) and (m).
   14         Section 41. The amendments and reenactments made by this
   15  act to sections 466.0067, 466.00671, and 466.00672, Florida
   16  Statutes, are remedial in nature and apply retroactively to
   17  January 1, 2020.

   21         Delete line 127
   22  and insert:
   23         cross-references; reenacting s. 459.021(6), F.S.,
   24         relating to registration of osteopathic resident
   25         physicians, interns, and fellows, to incorporate the
   26         amendment made to s. 459.0055, F.S., in a reference
   27         thereto; providing for retroactive applicability;
   28         providing an effective date.
