       The Committee on Rules (Gibson) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 236 and 237
    4  insert:
    5         (j)The Office of the State Courts Administrator shall
    6  develop and publish training materials for use by each clerk of
    7  the circuit court to train staff about the procedures and
    8  timeframes for judicial waivers of consent provided under this
    9  subsection. The training materials must be published on the
   10  Office of the State Courts Administrator’s website in an easily
   11  downloadable format. Such training materials must include
   12  information that is stated in plain, easily understandable
   13  language.

   16  And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 40
   18  and insert:
   19         appointed counsel; requiring the Office of the State
   20         Courts Administrator to develop and publish materials
   21         for use by clerks of the circuit court to train
   22         certain staff on procedures and timeframes for the
   23         judicial waiver process; requiring the training
   24         materials to be published on the office’s website in
   25         an easily downloadable format; requiring the
   26         information in the training materials to be stated in
   27         plain, easily understandable language; requesting the
   28         Supreme Court to
