       The Committee on Rules (Gibson) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 292 and 293
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. The Legislature finds that it is an important
    6  state interest that clerks of the circuit court provide staff to
    7  explain the procedures and timeframes for judicial waivers of
    8  consent. Each clerk of the circuit court shall provide one full
    9  time equivalent position for the purpose of implementing the
   10  training requirements of s. 390.01117(6)(j), Florida Statutes.

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 44
   15  and insert:
   16         severability; providing a legislative finding;
   17         allocating positions to clerks of the circuit court;
   18         providing an effective date.
