       Senator Albritton moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (707914) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 849 - 869
    5  and insert:
    6         3. For a patient who requires the services of a health care
    7  facility, as defined in s. 408.032(8):
    8         a. Admit the patient to the facility.
    9         b. Manage the care received by the patient in the facility.
   10         c. Discharge the patient from the facility, unless
   11  prohibited by federal law or rule.
   12         4. Provide a signature, certification, stamp, verification,
   13  affidavit, or endorsement that is otherwise required by law to
   14  be provided by a physician, except an advanced practice
   15  registered nurse registered under this section may not issue a
   16  physician certification under s. 381.986.
   17         (b) A certified nurse midwife must have a written patient
   18  transfer agreement with a hospital and a written referral
   19  agreement with a physician licensed under chapter 458 or chapter
   20  459 to engage in nurse midwifery.
   21         (c) An advanced practice registered nurse engaging in
   22  autonomous practice under this section may not perform any
   23  surgical procedure other than a subcutaneous procedure.
   24         (d) This section may not be construed to prohibit an
   25  advanced practice registered nurse registered under this section
   26  from practicing as an advanced practice registered nurse as
   27  authorized in s. 464.012.
   28         (e) The board shall adopt rules, in consultation with the
