       Senator Cruz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete line 345
    4  and insert:
    5  drills. The Department of Education shall issue guidance to
    6  districts specifying requirements applicable to emergency drill
    7  policies and procedures. Such policies and procedures must
    8  reference recommendations made by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas
    9  High School Public Safety Commission regarding emergency drills,
   10  including, but not limited to, the number of, the frequency of,
   11  and student exemption from emergency drills. District school
   12  board policies shall include commonly
