    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the exposure of sexual organs;
    3         amending s. 800.03, F.S.; specifying that an exception
    4         to the unlawful exposure or exhibition of an
    5         individual’s sexual organs in certain places includes
    6         clothing-optional beaches; making technical changes;
    7         providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Section 800.03, Florida Statutes, is amended to
   12  read:
   13         800.03 Exposure of sexual organs.—
   14         (1) It is unlawful for an individual to expose or exhibit
   15  his or her one’s sexual organs in public or on the private
   16  premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such
   17  private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner, or to be naked
   18  in public except in any place provided or set apart for that
   19  purpose, including, but not limited to, clothing-optional
   20  beaches. A mother breastfeeding her baby does not, under any
   21  circumstances, violate this subsection.
   22         (2) An individual who violates subsection (1) commits
   23  Violation of this section is a misdemeanor of the first degree,
   24  punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. A mother’s
   25  breastfeeding of her baby does not under any circumstance
   26  violate this section.
   27         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2020.
