       Senator Passidomo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 262 - 264
    4  and insert:
    5  court must hold a preliminary hearing within 72 hours after the
    6  petition is filed, and:
    7         (a) Rule on the relief requested immediately after the
    8  preliminary hearing; or
    9         (b) Conduct an evidentiary hearing not later than 4 days
   10  after the preliminary hearing and rule on the relief requested
   11  immediately after the evidentiary hearing.
