Floor: C 04/28/2021 02:14 PM . 04/29/2021 12:26 PM ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Book moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 29 - 73 4 and insert: 5 make the identity of each respondent against whom a final 6 judgment for an injunction for the protection of a minor under 7 s. 741.30, s. 784.046, or s. 784.0485 is entered, as well as the 8 fact that a final judgment for an injunction for the protection 9 of a minor under s. 741.30, s. 784.046, or s. 784.0485 has been 10 entered against that respondent, publicly available on an 11 Internet website for general public display, which may include 12 the Internet website required by this section, unless the 13 respondent is a minor. 14 (b) Any information specified in this subsection not made 15 available by the county recorder or clerk of the court on a 16 publicly available Internet website for general public display 17 before July 1, 2021, must be made publicly available on an 18 Internet website if the affected party identifies the 19 information and requests that such information be added to a 20 publicly available Internet website for general public display. 21 Such request must be in writing and delivered by mail, 22 facsimile, or electronic transmission or in person to the county 23 recorder or clerk of the court. The request must specify the 24 case number assigned to the final judgment for an injunction for 25 the protection of a minor under s. 741.30, s. 784.046, or s. 26 784.0485. A fee may not be charged for the addition of 27 information pursuant to such request. 28 (c) No later than 30 days after July 1, 2021, notice of the 29 right of any affected party to request the addition of 30 information to a publicly available Internet website pursuant to 31 this subsection shall be conspicuously and clearly displayed by 32 the county recorder or clerk of the court on the publicly 33 available Internet website on which images or copies of the 34 county's public records are placed and in the office of each 35 county recorder or clerk of the court. Such notice must contain 36 appropriate instructions for making the addition of information 37 request in person, by mail, by facsimile, or by electronic 38 transmission. The notice must state, in substantially similar 39 form, that any person has a right to request that a county 40 recorder or clerk of the court add information to a publicly 41 available Internet website if that information involves the 42 identity of a respondent against whom a final judgment for an 43 injunction for the protection of a minor under s. 741.30, s. 44 784.046, or s. 784.0485 is entered, unless the respondent is a 45 minor. Such request must be made in writing and delivered by 46 mail, facsimile, or electronic transmission or in person to the 47 county recorder or clerk of the court.
