    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to tree pruning, trimming, or removal
    3         on residential property; amending s. 163.045, F.S.;
    4         defining the terms “residential property” and “mobile
    5         home park”; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Present subsections (1), (2), and (3) of section
   10  163.045, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as subsections (2),
   11  (3), and (4), respectively, and a new subsection (1) is added to
   12  that section, to read:
   13         163.045 Tree pruning, trimming, or removal on residential
   14  property.—
   15         (1) As used in this section, the term:
   16         (a) “Mobile home park” means a use of land in which lots or
   17  spaces are offered for rent or lease for the placement of mobile
   18  homes and in which the primary use of the park is residential.
   19         (b) “Residential property” means any residential real
   20  property, manufactured or modular home, or mobile home park. The
   21  term includes a single-family dwelling, duplex, triplex,
   22  quadruplex, condominium unit, or cooperative unit.
   23         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
